ROSSITER PARK

Public BBQ

Rossiter Park stretches along the Ross River, offering a rare combination where families, dog owners, and water sports enthusiasts all find their niche. The fenced playground features swings and a climbing station with sandpit, while the adjacent off-leash dog area keeps pooches happy. Solid gazebos provide shade alongside rain trees, with BBQ facilities scattered throughout. River access includes a pontoon for launching watercraft, and mountain views prove unexpectedly impressive. Toilets are regularly maintained, though they're locked from evening until 5am. The well-maintained lawns and walking tracks create a relaxed atmosphere that manages to feel serene even with steady foot traffic of runners, swimmers, and picnickers throughout the day. A favourite among locals for its underrated combination of facilities and peaceful riverside setting.
